Built on Scripture

WHAT WE
BELIEVE.

These convictions shape what we preach, how we minister, and the life we call believers to live.

01

ONE TRUE GOD

We believe there is one God—the Creator—and He alone is God. His ways are higher than ours. Scripture reveals the one God in the association of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 43:10–11; 55:9 · Matthew 28:19
02

JESUS THE CHRIST

We believe Jesus is the begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived without sin and secured humanity's redemption through His shed blood and substitutionary sacrifice. He died, rose from the dead, ascended to the right hand of God, and will return. Jesus is the only way to salvation, heaven, and the Father.

Matthew · Mark · Luke · John
03

SPIRIT BAPTISM

We believe every saved person should earnestly seek the promise of the Father: baptism in the Holy Spirit. This experience empowers Christian life, witness, and service, and equips believers with spiritual gifts for the work of ministry. We believe speaking in other tongues is the initial physical evidence of this baptism.

Luke 24:49 · Acts 1:4, 1:8, 2:4 · Ephesians 4:30
04

THE HOLY BIBLE

We believe the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, infallible, inerrant, and His chosen revelation to humanity. Scripture is the ultimate authority concerning life, faith, and righteous conduct.

2 Timothy 3:15–17 · 1 Thessalonians 2:13 · 2 Peter 1:21
05

SALVATION

We believe humanity's only hope of life, salvation, and redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus' finished work of grace. Through regeneration and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit, believers are justified, sanctified, made heirs of God, citizens of His Kingdom, and members of Christ's Church. We are called to endure in holiness and righteousness.

Matthew 24:13 · Luke 24:47 · John 3:3 · Romans 10:13–15 · Ephesians 2:8 · Titus 2:11, 3:5–7
06

DIVINE HEALING

We believe divine healing is part of Christ's atoning and redemptive work. Deliverance and healing from sickness are privileges of believers, received through the means and methods revealed in God's Word.

Exodus 15:26 · Psalm 103:3 · Isaiah 53:4–5 · Matthew 8:1–17 · Luke 6:19 · Acts 10:38 · James 5:14 · 1 Peter 2:24
